Abstract: The incomes of hill-farmers in ‘Less Favoured Areas’ of the UK hit traditionally been based by payments attendant to their creation levels. Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy and changes in contract objectives within the UK show a requirement to modify this foundation of support.
