NXP buys micro line from Sharp
July 10, 2007 - NXP Semiconductors (née the chipmaking playing of Royal Philips) has acquired Sharp Microelectronics’ (Americas) BlueStreak microcontroller creation portfolio for an covert amount, adding Sharp’s ARM7 and ARM9 processor-based BlueStreak MCUs to its existing portfolio of ~50 32-bit ARM processor-based MPU products.
