News from IEDM: AMD, IBM detail 45nm process steps
December 12, 2006 - IBM and AMD are presenting writing at IEDM describing their impact with 45nm chipmaking processes, including ingest of dousing lithography, ultralow-k link dielectrics, and binary enhanced semiconductor lineage techniques, with projections of prototypal 45nm products primed by mid-2008.
