IBM tips plan to convert scrap wafers into solar panels
October 31, 2007 - IBM goldenwords says it has matured a method to repurpose piece conductor wafers that’s more economical at ornament removal, to be reused as guardian wafers or oversubscribed to solar firms and regenerate into solar panels. The process, currently in ingest at IBM’s Burlington, VT, facility, and existence implemented at its conductor pleasing in East Fishkill, NY, ransomed $500k in 2006 and an estimated $1.5M this year.
