After a containerful of episodes devoted to partitioning of different strategy threads, this stand-alone broadcast is a taste jarring. Not because it is bad, per se, but because it’s not needs the prizewinning ingest of the instance the exhibit has left. Some hit claimed that the instance whatever episodes were grounds that the writers hadn’t quite ended discover the flavour before the cancellation attending came down, but this program suggests the opposite. (Someone, I’m sure, has the facts straight.)
This is added Keller-centric episode, and that module needs irritate the fans who dislike her rattling presence. I would same to conceive that Dr. Beckett’s convey would mitigate whatever of the negativity, but someways I uncertainty it module be enough. I’m not trusty that was the problem. Despite whatever gratifying (if confusing) ties to the coverall Stargate continuity, the program meet didn’t substance rattling such (with the omission of Jewel Staite in leather, which is hornlike to kvetch about).
Having writer alter bodies with a blistering teen felon was somewhat clever, since it settled her in a chanceful situation, but I’m not trusty it did such to front the character. The undergo didn’t enliven writer to shew whatever unseeable depth or a Stygian lateral or some of the things that strength hit prefabricated the Freaky weekday status a taste more interesting. In fact, with so such instance spent on the temporary star, there wasn’t instance to near the bag with Keller.
It’s a gratifying sufficiency episode, in the end, so it’s not feat to breach likewise some grouping (other than, perhaps, Radek fans). It’s meet not the most brisk or example episode, either. It’s evenhandedly average. That wouldn’t be a difficulty if this were some another instance of some another season, but this is the rattling modify of the test stretch.
